Safety in the workplace is one of LCL’s top priorities. We are committed to having a strong Occupational Health and Safety Program that protects employees, trade contractors, customers, the public, and property from accidents and/or incidents. Our construction equipment is well maintained and is annually inspected by means of Nondestructive Testing (NDT). We are constantly striving to be on the leading edge of safety in our field in order to set the industry standard.

Our Occupational Health and Safety Program provides:

• Job specific safe work procedures
  
• Equipment operating and maintenance procedures
  
• Safety guidelines that focus management, employee, and trade contractor awareness on reducing the risk of accidents and/or incidents in all activities
  
• On-site forms and checklists for safety meetings, fall protection equipment, accident/incident investigations, safety inspection reports, tool inventory maintenance forms, etc…
  
• On-going employee education and training
  
  

It is because of our OH&S Program that LCL was recently recognized as a STAR COR certified company by the Construction Safety Association of British Columbia.
